  • During Grade 5 students of all ability levels of the German tripartite school system: Basic School (Hauptschule), Middle School (Realschule), and High School (Gymnasium)
  • Students at Hauptschule level can obtain their final exams (Hauptschulabschluss) at the end of Grade 9
  • Students at Realschule level pass exams at the end of Grade 10 (Realschulabschluss)
