Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Program

Who:  Egyptian undergraduate students in the fields of engineering, economics, political science, finance and management.

What:  Full tuition scholarship, living allowance, travel and health insurance

When:  2015

Where:  Stanford University, California, United States

Program length:  Four-year undergraduate degree program

Deadline to apply:  June 15 of each year

The Onsi Sawiris Scholarship will be awarded to Egyptian nationals who live in Egypt and based on character and merit as demonstrated through academic excellence, extracurricular activities and entrepreneurial initiative.

Candidates must be committed to returning to Egypt for two years directly after the successful completion of the degree.

Eligibility criteria includes a GPA of 3.5/90 percent in ThanaweyyaAmma (secondary year) or equivalent certificates, IBT TOEFL: 100 or above, SAT I: 2,100 or above.
