Who:   Female students from African Union Member States under the age of 35 (Master) and 40 years old (PhD)

What:   Master and PhD program scholarships

When:   Beginning of the academic year

Where:   Any African university in an African Union Member State

Program length:   Two years (Master), three years (PhD)

Deadline to apply:   May 31st

The African Union Scholarship for Female Students is available for all master’s and PhD students, studying in the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics and education.

All recipients must agree to work in any African country after graduation for a period at least equaling the scholarship’s duration.

The successful applicant has already been admitted to the African university of their choice and has a strong academic record.
