The Middle East Rule of Law Program program aims to assist in the creation of a critical mass of reform-minded professionals in the Middle East working in fields crucial to the development and sustainability of open societies.
Fellowships for graduate study leading to master’s degrees are available in law (LLM), public policy/public administration, media/communications studies, gender/women’s studies, and social work. Candidates will be selected on the basis of academic excellence, professional aptitude, leadership potential, and proven commitment to open society values.
The program is administered by OSF and AMIDEAST and funded by OSF and host universities. After completing their degree, grantees must agree to return to their home country for up to two years.
